Division of Vascular Surgery

The McGill University Health Centre Division of Vascular Surgery is a leader in the delivery of vascular surgery care in the Province of Quebec. Performed vascular surgery procedures run the spectrum of vascular disease including peripheral arterial, carotid, aortic pathology and trauma. With a longstanding and active Endovascular Program, our surgeons perform endovascular therapy for peripheral arterial occlusive disease, abdominal and thoracic aneurysm, carotid artery occlusive disease as well as endovascular treatment of aortic dissection and traumatic aortic injury. Combined with the vascular surgeries performed at the Jewish General Hospital by McGill University affiliated surgeons, our experience is the largest in Canada for fenestrated and branched aortic stent grafts and for endovascular treatment of the aortic arch.

The MUHC site has an active Non-invasive Vascular Laboratory that provides over 5,000 non-invasive vascular diagnostic examinations annually.
