Integration and redevelopment: stimulating challenges

Harmonizing the processes and completing the integration is a lot of work

Jocelyne Faille, administrative director of the Lachine Campus

Successfully leading a redevelopment project is not an easy task because you have to coordinate the efforts of numerous professionals from many departments as well as many representatives from different government levels. It also takes patience and perseverance. Harmonizing the processes and completing the integration is a lot of work, but for Jocelyne Faille, administrative director of the Lachine Campus, it’s also a very satisfying and fulfilling task. Occupying this position since June 2008, her principal mandate is to ensure the integration of the Lachine Campus into the rest of the MUHC and to act as a link between the other missions and directorates of the organization.

Possessing a nursing background, as well as a Masters in Administration, she worked as a bedside nurse for many years, which explains why the patients’ wellbeing is always at the centre of her decisions. “What I like the most about my job is to cross paths with patients everyday, which reminds me of the importance of my work and pushes me to strive to always improve the care offered to the Lachine Campus’ patients and residents,” she says proudly.
