The World According to David Feherty
This is an event not to be missed by golf fans – former professional golfer, TV host and best-selling author David Feherty is bringing his hilarious live show to Montreal in support of the Cedars Cancer Institute.
The World According to David Feherty is a look into the heart, as well as the head and life, of golf’s sharpest wit. You can expect to be treated to his distinctive and often demented perspective on everything from aging and Texas to parenting and addiction.
Since turning pro at the age of 17, Feherty went on to enjoy a successful career with 10 golf victories worldwide and $3 million in prize money. After his retirement in 1997, he joined CBS Sports as a commentator and quickly became golf’s favourite announcer thanks to his sharp wit and colourful personality.
He is now host of the Golf Channel’s Feherty, and has authored six books, several of which have made the New York Times bestsellers list.
Tickets are selling quickly for his July 2 show at the Rialto Theatre (5723 avenue du Parc), so get yours now. They also make the perfect gift for the golfer in the family.
Proceeds will go to the Cedars Best Care for Life Campaign, which is supporting the ongoing construction of a new Cancer Centre at the Glen site next to Vendome metro station and to the Cedars Breast Clinic Wellness Initiative. The program provides the Clinic’s breast-cancer patients with educational and practical tools essential to their well-being, including psycho-oncology, exercise programs, lymphedema therapy and breast cancer educational programs.
