Susan Solymoss, MD

Primary Axis:
Health Outcomes
Research Focus:

Research interest focuses on management of venous thromboembolism. Evaluation of novel anticoagulants in the prevention of venous thromboembolism, and novel anticoagulants in the treatment of venous thromboembolism are the main foci of numerous multicenter prospective clinical trials in which I participate. Laboratory evaluation of coagulation parameters in patients at risk of venous thromboembolism or atherosclerosis for risk prediction/stratification is the primary focus in the laboratory.Venous thrombosis, treatment, prevention, novel anticoagulants, hypercoagulable states
