Research Focus: 

Research is focused on methods of improving the quality and outcome of care, particularly as it relates to prescription drug use. Observational and experimental studies are used to evaluate the effect of differences in medical training on quality of care, utilization and outcomes associated with the use of prescription drugs, and interventions to improve safety and evidence-based practice through the use of electronic prescription and integrated drug management systems, and computer-generated patient-specific reminders for management.Drug policy evaluation, health informatics, medical education, pharmacoepidemiology
