Research focuses in the area of fetal medicine, prenatal diagnosis and fetal therapy. Work in the areas of prenatal screening for fetal disease (including chromosome abnormalities), pregnancy complications (including preterm labour) and prenatal diagnosis is also undertaken. Interest in the area of fetal therapy, both medical and surgical is also studied with a view to expanding the role of fetal therapy and surgery at the MUHC with a multidisciplinary approach introducing established techniques and evaluating innovative techniques.
