Research Focus: 

Research focuses on The Canadian Pediatric Surgery Network (CAPSNet), for two diseases (gastroschisis and congenital diaphragmatic hernia) including identifying infants at high-risk of poor outcomes in the short/long-term. Other areas include thyroid nodules in children and outcomes in a variety of other surgical diseases.
Additional areas of research include evaluation of the best feeding practices for infants and children needing any form of breathing support, and problems with sodium or glucose as well as lung infections.
