Research Focus: 

Research is focused on clinical and epidemiologic aspects of HIV and Hepatitis C co-infection and leads a CIHR-funded prospective cohort study of co-infected patients to study the interaction of these chronic viral infections. She is also involved in a number of observational epidemiologic research collaborations (NA-ACCORD and CANOC) that focus on understanding longterm clinical and treatment outcomes in HIV infection. Additional research interests include pharmacoepidemiology of antiretrovirals and HIV infection in women. She was an Associate of the Canadian HIV Trials Network and she presently co-chairs the Concurrent Diseases and Vulnerable populations Core of the Network.
