Research Focus:

Research focuses on new diagnostic and treatment approaches (particularly multimodal treatment) in children, adolescents, and adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Studies on measures which improve adherence to treatment factors which increase comorbidity as well as the impact of treatment of adults with ADHD on the spouse, the marital relationship on family functioning are all ongoing.

Our group is developing and testing the efficacy of cognitive behavioral therapy with and without medication for adults with ADHD. Similar studies for adolescents are planned. The research has also focused on multisite multimodal treatment studies for children with ADHD. Long-term follow-up on these children is currently occurring.
