Laboratory Technician
Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the Technician will perform specimen processing, technical procedures and general laboratory maintenance.
GENERAL DUTIES:
• Process specimen as described in study protocols;
• In charge of specimen storage and shipment;
• Participate in the maintenance of the specimen database;
• Maintain calibration/temperature logs
• A minimum of a Diploma of Collegial Studies (D.E.C.), specializing in Laboratory technology/Analytical chemistry
• Excellent organizational skills in managing multiple projects, multi-tasking and prioritizing.
• Bilingualism is an asset
• Previous work experience in hospital environment is an asset
Status: Part-time
Work Shift : 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays
