Job Summary: 

The MUHC is one of Quebec’s major bilingual and multicultural health care centers and is a challenging and dynamic environment renowned for excellent patient care, teaching and cutting edge research.                                                                   

Located in the heart of Montreal, the Emergency Departments of the Montreal General Hospital and the Royal Victoria Hospital specialize in secondary, tertiary and quaternary care. The Montreal General Hospital is an established Trauma Centre and is the designated centre for sexual abuse victims. The emergency department of the Royal Victoria Hospital specializes in transplant, cardiology, cardiac surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology and obstetrics/gynecology.

Requirements: 
  • Hold a valid OIIQ permit
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills

Salary: 
As per salary scale (salary recognition for bachelor)
Schedule: 
  • Rotation, alternate weekend 
  • Flexible schedules : 8 or 12 hours shift 
  • 50% of day shift guaranteed

Orientation 

  • A minimum of 6 weeks individual orientation based on a Preceptorship program 
  • You will be accompanied throughout your integration with an experienced nurse 
  • Specialized programs offered to CPNP’s (GENESIS)
