MISSION
The Montreal Children’s Hospital is the pediatric hospital of the MUHC. The Montreal Children’s Hospital aims to be a leader in the care and treatment of sick infants, children, and adolescents, to be a source of support for their families, and to be an advocate for the rights of all children to reach their full potential.
• Bachelor in Nursing or a bachelor including three (3) admissible certificates of which two (2) are recognized in nursing;
• Two (2) years experience in medical or surgical nursing;
• Psychiatry experience preferable;
• Hold a valid OIIQ permit or CPNP permit;
• Very good knowledge of one of both language (French or English) and functional knowledge of the other one;
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills;
• Open to new technology and research;
• Value team work within multidisciplinary team;
• Demonstrate strong technical skills and dexterity;
• Enjoy working in a changing and challenging environment
Status
• Part-time positions
Schedule
• Rotation, alternate weekend
• 8 hours shift
• 50% of day shift guaranteed
Orientation
• A minimum of 6 weeks individual orientation based on a Preceptorship program
• You will be accompanied throughout your integration with an experienced nurse
