Statement by the MUHC on MUNACA/PSAC shutdown of Glen Campus construction site

The McGill University Health Centre deplores the actions of employees from the MUNACA/PSAC union, blocking access to the Glen Campus site.  The Glen Campus hospital is being built to improve healthcare for Montrealers and all Quebecers and it is unreasonable that the workers are taking such action to delay work on a highly needed project.  We are working with our partners at Groupe immobilier santé McGill (GISM) to ensure that access to the site re-opens as soon as possible.

The union’s negotiations are not with the MUHC, McGill University is a separate legal entity from the MUHC.
