The George Karpati Symposium on Neuromuscular Disease: Innovation and Application

Contact

This international scientific symposium will honor the memory of the noted neurologist and physician-scientist George Karpati, who died suddenly in February 2009 in Montreal. The program includes one full day of scientific presentations and discussion followed by an evening dinner at which participants can share personal and professional memories of George and his many contributions to the field. The symposium follows the "The Ottawa Conference on New Directions in Biology and Disease of Skeletal Muscle" to be held May 5-8 2010, and is complementary in character with a primary focus on clinical connections relevant to George’s broad interests in neuromuscular disease.

More information about the Karpati symposium will be available mid-January, 2010.
