A project with clear benefits

Three sites, one exceptional academic health centre

The New McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) isn’t about bricks and mortar. It’s about improving the care we offer our patients. As an academic health centre, the MUHC has a four-part mission: providing specialized patient care, teaching the next generation of healthcare professionals, conducting fundamental and clinical research, and evaluating new technologies.

The MUHC has sought to implement its vision of patient-centered care that integrates research and teaching by undertaking a $2.355-billion Redevelopment Project. Three state-of-the-art sites are being built, modernized and crafted around this vision: the Glen Site, the Montreal General Hospital and Lachine Hospital.
