Our residents and students
Each year, close to 3,000 people are trained at the MUHC, including more than 800 medical and surgical residents, 1,000 nurses, 450 medical students and more than 500 students in other health-related fields.
Of course, medical students and professionals need facilities that let them interact in a way that is sensitive to the needs of patients and their families and that give students access to the latest medical methods, technologies and procedures.
On the New MUHC campuses, lecture halls and classrooms will be integrated into care spaces to give both students and teachers the room they need to work.
Finally, teaching activities on the new campuses will be enhanced thanks to cutting-edge information technology, including surgical simulators and telehealth equipment that students can use to participate remotely in procedures and courses.
