As the final phase of construction for the Montreal General Hospital’s electrical entrance nears completion, closure of the Cedar Avenue entrance will be required starting October 23. Please use Pine Avenue entrance if possible.

October 23 and 24 Weekend, 2010 – Full Closure of Cedar Entrance
Pedestrian access to Livingston entrance only
All patient and visitor vehicular traffic – for drop off or pick up – will be diverted to P14 [Parking accessible via Cedar Avenue]

Dialysis patients to enter via P14 [special parking spaces available]
Assisted Transport visitors, handicapped parking and Taxi access also accessed via P14
Transporters with wheelchairs will be stationed at the P14 entrance to facilitate transportation within the hospital

From October 25 to November 7, 2010 – Re-Opening of Livingston Entrance to Pedestrians
Only dialysis patients and handicapped or Assisted Transport visitors will be allowed to be dropped-off at the Livingston entrance
All other patient and visitor vehicular traffic remains diverted to P14 (see below)

As of November 7, 2010 – Partial Re-Opening of Cedar Entrance
Livingston and Cedar entrances will be accessible
Vehicular access will be limited

During this construction period, Security, Parking and Transport staff will be available at strategic locations to facilitate the traffic flow.
