Bio of Teresa Mack

She has devoted the majority of her professional career to the MUHC and most recently was Assistant to the Associate Director General of Medical Affairs. In this role she supported the development of organizational and strategic plans for the Medical Affairs Directorate. She earned recognition from her colleagues for her leadership and contribution to many large-scale projects, notably the MUHC Clinical Activity Priority Setting (CAPS) project in 2009-2010 and, more recently, CAPS for the Lachine Hospital. As Planning Coordinator for the MUHC’s Redevelopment Project from 1999 - 2008, Ms. Mack played a strategic role in the research and development of business cases and white papers, as well as data analysis and programme and policy evaluations. Ms. Mack holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Victoria, as well as Diplomas in French Proficiency and Administration. In 2001, Teresa obtained her Masters in Health Administration from the Université de Montréal. As Administrative Director, Neuroscience Mission, Ms. Mack will be responsible for the administration of clinical activities at The Neuro, neuroscience activities at the Montreal General Hospital and related ambulatory services. Reporting to The Neuro Director and the Associate Director General, Clinical Operations MUHC, Ms. Mack will play a leadership role in implementing The Neuro’s clinical transition plan (2015-2019). She will ensure the development and application of policies for the Neurosciences Mission, liaise with colleagues throughout the MUHC and the Quebec healthcare network and will play a key role in the relationships with the Agence de la santé et des services sociaux de Montréal and Ministry of Health.
