Where can I get my hospital card?

What are the languages of service at the MUHC?

A bilingual institution, the MUHC provides services in French and English. In addition, we make every effort to serve patients in other languages as required.

How can I reach a clinic, doctor or patient in the hospital?

What are the visiting hours?

Visiting hours throughout the Adult hospitals are flexible, depending on the needs of patients and their family and friends. In general, children are welcome to visit but it may be helpful to discuss this and other special visiting arrangements with the primary nurse or the head nurse of the unit. At times, the nursing staff may limit visiting in the best interest of the patients.

Where can I get a wheelchair when I arrive at the hospital?

Wheel chairs are usually available at all main entrances of the hospital. In the event that there are none available, the attendant at the information desk or the security officer in the security booth will phone the transport department and order a wheel chair to be brought down for the patient.

Up to what age can I bring my child to the Montreal Children's Hospital?

The Montreal Children's Hospitals treats infants, children and adolescents. Our health care professionals care and treat people up to and including the age of 18.
