Guests: Dr. Arthur T. Porter (Director General and CEO of the MUHC), Dr. Tarek Razek (Chief of Adult Trauma), and Dr. Scott Delaney (Research Director of the Adult Emergency Department)

Health Matters on CKUT is on the air! We’ve been looking forward to this day for a couple of months now. There’s so much happening around the MUHC we could fill several hours of radio, but we’ve been lucky enough to score a 20 minute slot on Monday mornings. Those in the Montreal area can tune in on 90.3FM; those outside of Montreal can listen live via the streaming link on the CKUT website (www.ckut.ca), or of course archives here on the MUHC Media Portal. Some of you may still be in bed, others may be on their way to work; whatever you’re doing be sure to kick-start your week with a little medical debate.
On this week’s show Dr. Arthur T. Porter (Director General and CEO of the MUHC) talks about the new MUHC patient room on display at the Health, Lifestyles & Fitness show at place Bonaventure, and Dr. Tarek Razek (Chief of Adult Trauma) and Dr. Scott Delaney (Research Director of the Adult Emergency Department) discuss sports injuries and how to avoid them.
Our guest interviews follow the World News In Three Medical Minutes – a regular feature on Health Matters where we summarize the cutting edge medical stories making headlines around the world.
