Featured here are video clips of MUHC staff talking about why they donated to
The Best Care for Life fundraising campaign.
Dr. Arthur T. Porter, Director General and CEO, MUHC
I am really proud to give to this campaign. It is such an important campaign
and I have the opportunity to lead such an exceptional team at the McGill
University Health Centre, a team that gives each day in terms of
compassionate care, complex care, to our patients. So it’s a great privilege
to me personally to give to our redevelopment program, a program that will
help each and every one of us in this community.
Jocelyne Faille, Administrative Director, Lachine Campus
I’m extremely proud to give in support of our internal campaign – working at
the McGill University Health Centre is a privilege for me. The redevelopment
project is a very important event for our clientele and employees and for the
greater community, as it’s going to help us deliver the
best care for
life .
Normand Rinfret, Directeur général adjoint du CUSM
I am proud to give to the internal
Best Care for Life Campaign
at the McGill University Health Centre because I think it’s time to show the
public, our donors, and ourselves that this project is extremely worthwhile
and that it will help us attract the best people and perhaps obtain better
equipment. I think we all need to do our part and show people that we support
our hospital and our institution, and that is why I decided to give myself.
Ann Lynch, Director General of Clinical Operations, MUHC
I am very proud to give to the internal fundraising campaign for the MUHC
redevelopment, because I really feel that this internal campaign will help to
support the extraordinary work that’s being done by our clinical team,
nurses, physicians, allied health members across all of our six campuses, as
we move towards the new Glen, Mountain and Lachine campuses.
Dr. Vassilios Papadopoulos, Director the Research Institute
I’m very proud to give to the internal fundraiser campaign at the McGill
University Health Centre for the redevelopment plan. This is very important
to support the existing strengths and excellence in research training,
education and healthcare delivery and more so to give to the future, for us
and for the next generation. This is important so that a dream becomes
reality for the McGill University Health Centre and the community.
Dany Journo, Head manager project management
I am very proud to contribute to the MUHC's
Best Care for Life
fundraising campaign for several reasons. It is our responsibility to improve
our facilities in order to offer our employees a safe working environment
with state-of-the-art technology. Our people are the heart and soul of our
organization and are devoted to offering the best care possible to our
patients. It is therefore our duty and our responsibility to improve their
working conditions which will help nurture their sense of belonging to the
MUHC. By doing this, we will create a healing environment to help patients
with their recovery, which is the MUHC’s number one priority.
Paula.M Rozanski, Director of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services
I’m proud to give because I believe that the employees are really the heart
of the institution. It’s the heart and the soul of the institution and those
are the folks who care for the patients, those are the folks who use their
skills, their knowledge, their abilities, to do what they have to do in every
area to make sure that the patients really get the best care. And in the new
facility they’ll have state-of-the-art facilities which they’ve been for, for
a long time – we’ve all been waiting for, for a long time. And in those
facilities, they will be able to optimize their skills, abilities and
knowledge to their full extent and provide really the best care for life.
Dr. David Eidelman, Physician-in-chief
I'm proud to give to the internal campaign of the McGill University Health
Center, because this is a once in a generation opportunity to ensure that our
community has the best clinical care, the best research and the best
teaching.
