Lecture by Dr. Gilbert: “What every woman should know”

Dr. Lucy Gilbert will give a talk about the McGill University Health Centre’s successful DOVE project (Detecting Ovarian cancer Early). 

The DOVE team has set up the world’s first ever Rapid Access Diagnostic Center for the early detection of ovarian cancer at the Royal Victoria Hospital.

As stage I ovarian cancer is curable by surgery alone in over 90% of the cases, the key to saving lives is to increase the proportion of women diagnosed in stage I.
