The Best Care for Life Campaign
The Best Care for Life Campaign is a historic fundraising effort supporting the McGill University Health Centre’s crucial $2.355 billion redevelopment project.
The New MUHC includes the expansion and modernization of the Montreal General and Lachine hospitals, and the construction of a new home for The Montreal Children’s Hospital, the Montreal Chest Institute, the Royal Victoria Hospital, the Research Institute of the MUHC and a new Cancer Centre at the Glen site, next to Vendôme metro station.
With 12 cranes currently at the Glen, this is one of the largest construction sites in Quebec and in all of Canada. Together, these state-of-the-art, patient-centric, teaching and research hospital sites will enhance patient care for all Quebecers.
The Best Care for Life Campaign has so far raised $261 million of its $300-million goal.
On February 4, the MUHC held its inaugural Dancing with the Docs fundraiser, which raised $203,000. See the CTV report here:
