The Best Care for Life Campaign
The Best Care for Life Campaign is a historic fundraising effort supporting the McGill University Health Centre’s crucial $2.355 billion redevelopment project. The New MUHC includes the expansion and modernization of the Montreal General and Lachine hospitals, as well as the construction of the Glen site – one of the largest hospital construction projects ever undertaken in Canada. Located next to Vendôme station, this site will be the new home for The Montreal Children’s Hospital, the Montreal Chest Institute, the Royal Victoria Hospital, the Research Institute of the MUHC and a new Cancer Centre.
Now in its final stretch, the Best Care for Life Campaign has so far raised $285 million of its $300-million goal thanks to the hard work of the campaign’s leadership, countless volunteers, and of course the generosity of the community.
One of the MUHC’s most popular fundraisers in support of The Best Care for Life Campaign, Dancing with the Docs was launched in February 2012 and is returning on April 13, 2013 at La Tohu. For details, and to see photos and videos from the inaugural edition, visit dancingwiththedocs.ca.
